Adult Counselling Services

Trauma Counselling, ART Therapy, EMDR Therapy

We can help you process and heal from distressing experiences in a safe, supportive space, allowing you to rebuild a sense of stability and control in your life. Our trauma therapy sessions are designed to help clients heal from the effects of trauma, such as PTSD, childhood abuse, and sexual assault. 


We use evidence-based treatments, such as ART,  EMDR and  CBT  to help clients process their trauma and develop coping skills to manage symptoms.
 

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) uses guided imagery and eye movements to help the brain reframe painful memories, often leading to relief in fewer sessions than traditional approaches.


  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, providing practical tools to improve mood, reduce anxiety, and build healthier coping strategies.
     
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer trigger intense emotional or physical reactions, fostering lasting emotional healing.

Couples Therapy

Our couples therapy sessions help partners deepen their connection, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. We work with couples to identify patterns of behaviour that may be causing distress and provide tools to help them build a stronger, healthier relationship.
