Tianna McCay

I am a Provisional Psychologist with a passion for helping children, teens, and their families navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria and completed my Master’s degree in School and Child Psychology at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax.

I provide assessment and counselling services for children and adolescents, offering a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their unique strengths. I have experience conducting full psycho-educational assessments to identify learning disabilities, giftedness, ADHD, mental health concerns, and more.

I am committed to recognizing and honouring the individual differences of each child, teen, and adult, helping ensure they receive the support that best fits their needs. Through both assessment and counselling, I work closely with individuals and families to build a deeper understanding of each person’s strengths, challenges, and goals.

My approach is personalized and evidence-based, with a focus on building coping skills, improving self-esteem, strengthening emotional resilience, and addressing underlying concerns.

In my spare time, you’ll often find me in nature or at home with a cup of tea and a craft project.
